Exploring Inclusive Perspectives on Security
As part of the Erasmus+ Securing Inclusion Project, third-year students following the Contemporary Warfare unit at the Department of International Relations explored how diversity and inclusion strengthen the way we think about security.
The session encouraged students to move beyond state-centric understandings of security and reflect on human security, intersectionality, decolonising security, and cybersecurity as a human security issue.
This is the future-facing educational transformation that the Securing Inclusion Project is fostering through inclusive curricula, digital learning tools, and innovative pedagogical resources.
