Multiplier event at the Matej Bel University, Slovakia
As stated in the project proposal, Slovak multiplier event organized by Matej Bel University took place on the 4th March 2026.
In order to disseminate the project results among the student community and academic staff, two events were organized on the same day, each implemented in a different format. In the morning, the project objectives, activities, results and outputs were presented in person to students. Considering the thematic focus of the project, the results were presented to students of the Faculty of Political Sciences and IR. In the afternoon, an online session was organized for teachers who had expressed interest in the developed outputs.
At the beginning of each session, the main ideas and aims of the project were presented, followed by the presentation of the project outcomes. The core of the both sessions was the antidiscrimination game which Matej Bel University had been developing. The participants of the both groups went through the online game and, in the form of an open discussion, expressed their opinions on the presented game.
Both target groups evaluated the digital tool positively, with their feedback focusing on distinct aspects of its application. Students particularly appreciated the dynamic and intuitive nature of the gaming environment, which allowed them to explore inclusion issues within security studies through an interactive format. Their constructive feedback primarily suggested further expansion of the interactive scenarios. Academic staff, on the other hand, highlighted the methodological contribution of the game and its potential as an innovative teaching aid for higher education. Their comments were chiefly directed toward the technical integration of the tool into existing syllabi and the possibilities for quantifying learning outcomes. Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the National Agency. Neither the European Union nor EACEA can be held responsible for them.
In the opposite from project proposal (30 participants), Matej Bel University disseminated the project results and outputs between 48 students (in person workshop) and 15 online participants, so the planned number of participants was significantly exceeded.
As the supporting document, the scans of participants´ lists and the print screens from online event are available.
